Im setting up a water cooling system soon and need to know a few facts before i do any mess ups. I am purchasing

and fittings will be made out of Hi Quality Brass.
I will be using distilled water. Do i need PT Nuke and a corrosion blocker like Feser Base Corrosion Blocker?. Or do i just need the PT Nuke and distilled water with the parts im using?. Any one confirming what i need i will GREATLY appreciate it. Im reading a whole mix of different answers from different locations. :(
 
I kind of doubt you'll really need a corrosion blocker with distilled water, but others may have more experience with that.

as for anti-microbial precautions, I'm still not sure whether additives or kill coils are considered better.

you will want to be more careful with components containing plexi-glass, not over tightening fittings and such so you don't cause any cracks. being careful to choose tubing that won't leak tons of plasticizer into the system is also something to look at 'cause it may require more maintenance over time (want to keep components from getting gunked up).
 
No anti-corrosive needed. 1-2 drops of PT nuke per liter of distilled water. PT nuke itself is CuSO4 in solution.

You need anti-corrosive if you use aluminum parts as aluminum and copper are dissimilar metals capable of forming a galvanic couple which leeches ions into your loop. The metals in your system are copper, as far as I can tell, so you will not need an anti-corrosive. I strongly advise against additional additives. If you must have UV radiance, buy UV tubes, not dye bombs.

thank you :D i plan on using colored tubing and distilled water. it seems the best route.

The metals are copper and brass (copper-tin alloy), which i think have slightly different values.
Adding PT will introduce ions, turning the liquid into a conductor.
Unless an anti-corrosion agent is provided corrosion should be expected, but probably not very aggressive.

I could always use pt_nuke and Feser Base Corrosion Blocker to be safe right?
 
Or you can just use a silver killcoil. Most people say they perform about the same.
