Swiftech's Stealth waterblock For Gforce 8800 Gpus says:

The Stealth is shipped with 1/4" BSPP to 1/2" barb chrome fittings, and is also fully compatible with Swiftech's or other 1/4" BSPP to 3/8" barb fittings.

I know that BSPP = British Standard Parallel Pipe
and Innovatek uses BSP = British Standard Pipe

I want to use all Innovatek Fittings on some Swiftech Water blocks::

The Swiftech' Stealth *VGA water block for Gforce 8800 Gpus*
The APOGEE GT *Cpu Water block*
And 2x Danger Den Black Ice GT Stealth 120 X-Flow Radiators
Swiftech MCP355 Pump BUT Am going to modify it and put a Acrylic Replacement Top that will allow you to attach any G1/4" tubing fitting to it.

1st question is Am I going to be able to use All the same G1/4 Screw Thread That Innovatek makes

2nd Am I going to be able to use the same tubing threw out the system.

3rd Am I able to maybe get different Screw thread but keep the same 8mm ID Tubing threw out my system.?

If any of these q's are yes.
Please explain as I am still learning about all this and want to get everything right. :) Thanks Guys.
 
Got to go to work so the short answer is:

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. No

Will answer more completely later this afternoon, but you will need a replacement pump top that has G 1/4 threads.
 
BSP is a tapered pipe thread.

BSPP is a parallel pipe thread.

The "G" thread is also known as BSPP, so "G" = BSPP.

If the Innovatek is a true BSP, than no, they are not the same as BSPP. A BSPP fitting probably would not screw down far enough to get a seal from the o'ring.

I didn't read every post there, but for me, I really do not like full cover blocks simply because they are designed for a particular card. Upgrade the card and the result is going to be the purchase of a new water block. Not very cost effective, if an upgrade is anticipated.

I'm not familiar with the 8800 series, but aren't they GDDR3? I thought they were supposed to be "fairly" cool chips. If so (OP), why not just use heat sinks a quiet fan to blow some air across them?
 
MCW60 sounds like a good idea.

the MCW60 is BSPP and G 1/4 fittings compatible

Will they be ok with 1/4 Threading tho?
 
If I get the Mc60 Waterblock and APOGEE GT and Innovatek 1/4 threading would everything work out ok?
 
Basic q's I need answered is

Can I use Innovatek 1/4 thread type Fittings on The Swiftech APOGEE GT and the Swiftech MCW60?
