Quick fit couplings

I know these are not very popular, but part of my setup will be about 3 feet outside the main box, so disconnects are required for moving and maintenance reasons.

I'm strongly considering 3/8 inch tubing for my setup, but would like to use 1/2 inch fittings throughout, mainly to reduce the chance of leaks. Problem is, I'm having trouble finding 1/2 inch quick disconnect fittings anywhere. I can find all metal hydraulic ones, but those are $60-70 plus apiece.

Anybody have a source for these?

Try COLDER, the best there is.

I decided to use quick connects on my upocoming build.

I have used them for air lines on machinery before but never for liquid.

That being said, I would only use high quality quick connects for my computer (ie. no plastic.) I found some fittings made by a company called Camozzi. They are 1/4 bspp thread (G 1/4) and for 12mm od tubing. Nickel plated brass with rubber oring seal and teflon gasket for the G1/4. I contaced the manufacturer and they told me that these fittings were rated for use with liquids and will not leak.

These fittings are someting around $20 each normally. I foudn them on ebizzzle a while ago 12 for $33 shipped. Got the tubing from mcmaster carr but i cant remember what i got off the top of my head you need to get the correct grade but its not expensive either.
search for "Camozzi S6510" and you will find them i think there are still some left.
