Is that something that's ever going to get reimplemented? I'm sure I'm not the only one who found it pretty useful/nice.

I did a brief search and couldn't find anything, but link me if I'm wrong.

Considering that the Ajax tends to break the entire site or at at least bring it to a crawl for some reason now, which we have found no reason for, no.
