Quick, dumb RAID question

Hey all,

System specs are in sig. If I add a third Seagate 160GB SATA drive, is it possible to create a RAID-5 array without formatting the first two? I'd like a little more redundancy, but I really don't wish to have to wipe all my drives. I'm currently running off the nForce4 SATA ports.
 
Almost certainly not. That's an enterprise-level feature, I don't think they'd include that function. But the only way to be sure is to buy another disk, plug it in, and try it.

 
If it were me I'd be looking for a temporary home for my data while I setup the raid array. If you can borrow access to someone's hard drive so you can store your data there you can setup the array and then move the data back. Would be a very safe way to do it.
