Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Can a dremel cut .125" 5052 aluminum with those reinforced cutting blades?
I'm thinking about using a holesaw but lowes and home depot only stock 2.5 inchers so I would have to order the 3 and 4 inch ones and I need to mod NOW!!
If you actually take your time (something most people around here can't comprehend) a dremmel will work fine on alu. It is rather soft and will cut nicely.
Cool, thanks for the replies guys. I need to buy some more screws so I'll give home depot the once over again, and maybe ask a sales person for help. I hate doing that
The Home Depot where I live had one 3" holesaw, a Bosch, for $25 w/o the arbor when I went there a while back. Make sure you use a good corded drill. I learned the hard way that a 5 amp cordless craftsman drill craps out about 3/4 of the way through.
