So I have to decide before the various rebates expire in a couple of hours...
9800gx2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130338
or
2x8800gs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130332

This will be paired with an E6600 on an Asus P5K Deluxe/Wifi with 4g ddr2/800. Have a copy of Vista Ultimate x64 to put on it.

Other suggestions in this rough price range ($200 - $300) will also be gladly accepted. Prefer newegg cause I gotta get some other stuff there anyway.

I would opt for a 9800GX2. It should be good for ~10000PPD and takes one PCI-E connector.

Done deal. Ordered. I should have it middle of next week, and should have it crunching by Saturday morning-ish (I'll prep the rest of box before hand). This paired with my other (waiting on parts) builds should put at 19-20k PPD. Have to remember to get the GF something nice, she funded this while I'm waiting on expense reimbursements from work.
