Quick ? about VRMs for Servers

I have 2 Gateway NS-7000 servers (Old P2 300mhz beasts) im combing to make one OK Server. The motherboards support 2 procs, so i figured i could toss both processors into one machine and be golden. Problem is i need to find a VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) for the second proc. I cant pull it off the other motherboard since its onboard.

So are all VRMs for P2s essentially the same? Could i pick up a VRM from say a compaq with the same pin counts and use it in a gateway mobo as long as it would fit (looks like most of them use the same design). Any suggestions on where i could find this? Google and Ebay haven’t pulled up anything, and gateway parts department doesn’t have it even listed.
