quick ? about updating ATI drivers

If I already have CCC installed, all I need to do is uninstall 8.7 drivers then install 8.8 drivers? Or do I need to uninstall everything every time?
 
I'd personally uninstall all driver related items, then start with a fresh install of CCC and Drivers.
 
also run a driver cleaner...this is what I do.

uninstall everything

reboot

driver cleaner

reboot

install

reboot

, I know it's a little excessive, but this way I make sure it's a clean install
