Hey guys, I've been thinking about getting a new case, and my decision essentially is between these cases.

Everything from my current rig (see sig) will go in, other than replacing the TX850 with a COOLERMASTER Silent pro Gold 1000W.

Thoughts? I really like both designs, and can't choose at all.

I lean a smidgeon toward the 650D, I like the look and reviews. I own a Lian LI PC-K57 I like a great deal. LL does a lot right. Won't know how well it fits till you try..

I got a 9F recently - but I got it to use as an HTPC case (I put it on a wheeled chassis thing next to my rack). But I was considering the Corsair too..

Here is what I thought..

Lian Li vs. Corsair (From a Lian Li point of view - since that's what I picked).

+ Higher quality. Never see a flaw with Lian Li and my latest one was no exception. But the Corsair had little problems that come from inexperience like the front fan being too close to the grating causes some noises - when you don't even need that second inner grating!
+ Better looking (especially with accessories like the bezel for HD).
+ Uses stock size fans
+ It's light.
+ It's not noisy.
+ It actually cooled better when tested stock (Well the 8FI beat a 600T but close enough).
+ No window. I don't need a window for an HTPC case.

-cable management is pretty good - I fit everything on the backside - but Corsair is supposedly easier and has grommets.
-interior not painted black. Honestly in person the Lian Li interior is fairly sweet looking - but I give the edge to Corsair here.
-inferior layout. I think the Corsair - especially with regards to the HD cage is better. But also think there is more room for stuff like water cooling - and it has more grommet holes.
-more cooling potential. I believe that with some work(different fans) the Corsair would actually cool better. Not important for me as this is an HTPC not a desktop
-Corsair has more features from the hotswap thing - to the fan controller - to the window - to the easy opening side panel.

Probably for a desktop I'd get the Corsair but its a really tough call. Lian Li has gotten pretty good at the aluminum thing. From little things like some reinforcing on the side panels to prevent flexing and having everything anti-vibe like.. And this one has a pretty regular layout that I like...not some weird backwards air flow or side intakes..or some such nonsense like that..(Lian Li is seemingly a company that can't help itself in this regard - its like an itch or something). Ironically the steel cases seem better designed. I can't think of one LIan LI as well desinged as a K63..<g>

If there was rep on this forum, I would throw some your way for that post, GuyClinch. Useful post loaded with experience that should help the OP's decision.

There's also a coupon and rebate on Newegg right now that brings the 650D's price in-line with the PC-9F, so that will probably further complicate the decision. :p
