Queston about Wireless Adaptor

Most all brands will work with each other, but yes there are cheaper brands in quality than others. Using an adapter and router made by the same manufacturer usually yields better performance because a manufactuer usually tests interoperability among its own devices, whereas it may not test interop with other manufactuers' devices. Also some manufactuers will enable proprietary extensions to the 802.11b/g standards that allow for higher throughput when using devices that support these features.
