Okay guys, I have around an $800 budget for a new monitor. Now, I probally will get an xbox 360 in a few months and want to play it maxed resoultion. I some very noob questions I need answered.

Can an HDTV TV hook up to a computer and game with no ghosting or anything?

Would I be better off buying a dell 2405 or an HDTV?

This will be used for computer gaming, tv watching, movie watching, and xbox 360 playing.
 
Guys I really need some help. Also, how much can a 2405 be had for with coupons, and when will I be able to get coupons for it?
 
Theres not really set time frame, especially with the holidays. Look at places like here for deals. I got mine for $650 without coupons :D

Honestly, the 2405 is dedent for a small end HDTV but your'd be much better off and happier picking up a 30" Sanyo or Philips HD TV. The 2405 is HDCP compliant basically meaning it doesn't have the right "specifications" to be HD compatible though I can display HD signals fine.
 
Will an HDTV game good? This will be used for gaming a little more than TV i think, but want it to do both. So 2405FPW for an $800 HDTV?
