Newegg switched my return RMA to a refund RMA. However the refund it only for the item itself and not the tax and shipping included. So do i call them to ask about this?

Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. You can, but I don't think you'll get anywhere. Shipping is not normally refunded, as that is charged by FedEx, not Newegg. As for tax, I'm not sure how CA laws work with sales/refunds, but it won't hurt to at least ask.
