I just bought a BFG 6800GT OC and I just have a couple of questions concerning its compatibility:
1) For the moment, this card will be installed on an OEM PC, specifically a Gateway. Using CPU-Z, the motherboard seems to be an INTEL D850EMV2. It uses AGP version 2.0 with a transfer rate of 4X. Being that the 6800GT is an 8X card, will it still work with a 4X board?​
2) The video card being replaced is a GeForce2 MX400. The manufacturer is unknown. Being that the driver it currently uses is ForceWare version 81.98, do I still need to remove and reinstall the drivers when I replace it with the 6800GT?​
