I've had this Sapphire 6950 reference card since around a month or two after they were released, and it's been treating me well so far, but I'm trying to squeeze some more power out of it.
Shortly after I got it I was able to successfully unlock it to 6970 specs.
I just downloaded MSI Afterburner and was doing a little tweaking, but came across a couple of issues. I set the clocks to 940/1425 and the voltage to 1285, power limit +20, with a custom fan profile that seems to work well. I used the "Kombustor" software that came with Afterburner and it seemed to be running great, however according to GPU-Z my voltages always go straight to 1.1750 and never change. When I don't have the test open the clock sets to 500 and voltage to 1.0, which I assume is the normal function of the built in profile switch.
So I'm curious as to why the voltages aren't changing, and also if I should even worry about it and just hope that it runs stable the way it is.
Something I just noticed after opening Firefox to come post here is that the clocks now only go to 800, and the memory stays at 1375, thought the voltage still goes to 1.1750.
I vaguely remember reading something a long time ago about Flash possibly causing cards to stay in 2D mode or something to that effect, but that wouldn't explain it going up to 800, would it?
So since I always have to keep my browser and a bunch of tabs open whenever my computer is on, I'd really like to figure this out and see if I can fix it.
Is this a known issue? Is there anything I can do to get my card to consistently OC to how I set it?

Update: It seems that ending Flash process in task manager made the memory clock immediately go up to the 1425 that I have it set to, and disabling the hardware acceleration option in flash settings seems to keep it that way. I'm sure I had done that before, but for some reason it was on. So for now that seems to solve that one issue. However the voltages are still not changing.
