Ok I am planning on building my own computer, but as i am pretty green to the whole thing i could use some guidance. Right now im in the researching and gathering phase and here is what ive got so far - AMD 64 FX-55 @ 2.6, ASUS A8N-SLI, and 2 EVGA Nvidia Geforce 6800 ultras. Ok so i plan on water cooling my system with the koolance Exos II. So here are my questions - will the EVGA nvidias work ok with the M/B i have picked out for SLI ? Can i cool the 6800 ultras with a water block (probly not since they are bulky?) will the koolance be enough for running this high end system under high load ? what is the best way to ventilate the case in order to lower ambient temps inside the case ? thanks for any help

If you are watercooling your main heat producing components (cpu and gpu), then the ambient temperature inside the case should not be much of a problem, all you need is the normal intake/outtake that most cases come with already, or even just an outtake.

There are a number of gpu blocks that will work with SLi, and others that are too bulky. Silverprop Fusion SL is a low profile cooler, The danger den maze4 will be coming out in a single slot solution as well. Also, many SLi boards do have enough space between the two x16 slots that you can fit most GPU blocks in between.

I am not sure how the pumps in the Exos II will cope with the added restriction of an SLi setup, but it should be able to handle it averagely well.

As for the cards working with the mobo, I dont see why not, but that is probably a question better suited for another forum.
