I would assume this discussion would pertain to both camps so I asked it here even though I own a 7950 using TriDef. I just got this setup and I'm enjoying it a lot. But since I'm so new to 3D I know I'm probably doing it bass ackwards so feel free to dispense some advice!
What settings do you sacrifice first to reach a targeted fps in a game so it is smooth in 3D?
What target fps do you wish to maintain?
Do you dare try to play competitive MMO arena type games in 3D such as Guild Wars 2?
What about FPS such as BF3?
What about "Batman AC" type games like Sleeping Dogs?
Do you think 2 cards is necessary for 3D?
How much more eye candy does a second card allow you to turn back on?
Is there a way to get Steam to play nicely with TriDef? (More AMD than Nvidia I suppose.)
Do you capture video of game play for Youtube in 3D?
Easiest way to capture 3D Side by Side video using TriDef for Youtube. Their forum's community kinda sucks really bad.
Is there an easy way to capture 3D video using TriDef and then convert it to Side by Side for Youtube and maintain good image quality.
Where do you go for cheap replacement 3D glasses? Mine cost $100+ for a replacement from Samsung.
Even though I can't afford Eyefinity since this monitor wasn't cheap, how much do you value your Surround / Eyefinity 3D setup? Another words should I start saving?
Does Surround / Eyefinity 3D put an extra tax on your eyes?
How long can you watch 3D content before you have to take off the glasses?
Thanks guys for any insight into the subject and feel free to say what you feel about it. Just got it so still in the awe and shock stage.
