Ive never done this b4.
so here goes.

1. how do you do it? rivatuner?

2. can it damage the card?

3. if you do see artifacts can you simply turn the pipes back off and vertex shaders and it will be ok?

im a noob at this.. someone please write me some info on it.
thanks in advance!
austin

1.) Rivatuner.
2.) No, cos you dont do anything physical on card itself, only on "drivers".
3.) Correct.

I opened the thread such as this, maybe its on the 2nd or 3rd, 4th page. Check it.

2. well yes any unlocking and overclocking will obviously make the card run hotter, and if not cooled properly it will cause dammage to the card.

So if you plan to do so, make sure you have adequette cooling for your system and card, or it will result in making your card go "poof"

well.. no plans to overclock.. right now.

i just want to make sure that if i unlock i dont kill my card.

i mean.. is is possible to kill it via unlocking?

i think im good on the cooling department.

dual fans / copper heatsink w/ heatpipes.

i have a bfg 6800 OC

thx for info.
