Questions about Realtek 889A

they'll probably give you DTS and AC-3 passthrough, as in DVD soundtracks and similar, almost guarantee no DTS Connect, Dolby varies vendor to vendor, if it has Dolby Home Theatre or similar, it should do DDL, otherwise, no go
 
Thanks, thought Dolby HT had something to do with it, but no-one really clarifies what that's refering to exactly in reviews.

Dolby HT is kind of their umbrella for a number of Dolby features, including DDL, Pro Logic, and so on
