I have it hooked up perfectly and i know its a setting somewhere..... i have a abit ag8 montherboard with onboard audio and i installed the audio drivers and with the bundled media player and itunes all the speakers work and the sub works, but with winamp jus the front left and right speakers work and any windows sounds just the left and right front speakers work and when i'm in battlefield 1942 when i'm at menus and loading screens all the speakers and subs work but once i get into the game on the front left and right speakers work..... wtf is wrong and what do i need to do to fix this?

Funny, there's a problem like this in this forum as well...

Checked your Windows speaker settings? (Control Panel, Multimedia, Output or Sound Card). That could be a problem if it isn't set to surround. That could be the problem. If it isn't, it could be a sound card problem. Is everything set up right?

yah i have and the front, subwoofer and rear sliders are all hazzy and i can't use them, and i have windows set to 5.1 surround sound.... I have SP2 if that makes a difference.

anyone know how to fix this, i'm at college and i don't have the serial number so i can't email abit.....

The serial number is on the side of the PCI slot on the MB. You will probably have to take it out ouf the case to see it. However, I do not think it is a hardware problem. I think you simply have it configured improperly.

i know it is a software problem..... i need the serial to email abit about how to configure it...
