Questions about file sharing with windows

Hey guys I'm trying to set up a shared folder that the rest of my roomates can view and put up movies, music, etc... on for everyone to use. I did this in windows easily by going to the sharing tab of any folder but I'm having trouble on my new mac (10.4). I was able to enable windows sharing in the sharing tab of system preferences, but this shares ALL the files on my computer ones someone enters the correct user name and pw. I only want to enable ONE folder to be seen when my roomates go to 'network neighborhood'. To disallow them from accessing MY data, I created a new user account called "stuff" with a different password than mine, however still all of the folders "music, documents, movies" etc, show up, even though I only want to share one. Any tips or ideas? Thanks
