because you're using the DVI connection which means that most of the LCD's adjustments are through your video card's settings.
And how can I look TV on this monitor ? My video card is 9700 pro ATI. Thanks.
two options:
1. hook up an RCA cable from your TV or VCR's output jack(s) to the RCA connection on the back of the LCD.
2. you could buy a PCI TV tuner card and watch TV through it.

I just wanted to add that if you are looking for a hardware way to reduce the brightness of the screen in low light situations, here's what I do:
Go to Color Settings and, in the Custom selection, lower each color to around 5 or around 15 or whatever you want. Keep the relation between them the same (or whatever you prefer) but have them all much lower.
- So in the daytime I use the "Normal" setting and change the brightness if I want to fine tune it.
- And in the nighttime I change it to Custom (and then change brightness for a fine tune)
I was disappointed at first because the monitor was way too bright in the dark (when viewing white backgrounds at least) and the Brightness adjustment was not very profound. Once set, this solution takes just a short sequence of button pressing and works perfectly.

So I used the first option...I connected the RCA cable TV to LCD...but I don't see any image, So I need some software or what ? I looked for pip on the LCD, but I can't use for now...I don't understand all that.
And if I want to use the pivot option, how can I do ? Software again ? But which one ?

first, make sure that the end thats hooked up to your TV is on the output side. second, you'll need to press the first button to the > right of the Dell sign on your LCD to select which input device that you'd like to watch. in this case it will be from the composite selection.
as for the PIP thing, I cant answer that one cuz I've never messed with it.
