Questions about Catalyst Profiles

I just downloaded a new catalyst profile from Rage (link), and I have some questions about it.

It appears that what I've downloaded are preview profiles for the 10.12 catalyst . Will these profiles be included in the subsequent release as part of the new 11.1 drivers, or do they need to be downloaded separately (if I didn't get them here or if I were to reformat or something).

I don't see a place in the new Catalyst Control Center for viewing or managing profiles. I'd be interested in seeing the performance difference with and without this new profile in-game. Is it possible to enable/disable certain profiles?

What exactly is a profile? I'm assuming it's just some specific code that lets the card render the games for which they're made more efficiently. Assuming that's correct, do they also have an impact on certain settings. For example, could/would a profile disable forced AA because it has a large impact on performance?
