But the dual core on the D means his system will multitask better, so overall his system will probably be faster under load than yours.

So today i got a chance to use his Pentium D 2.8
OMFG...it was slow as hell, i was installing photoshop and transferring some files...its was slow as hell, if my single 3.4 ever gets that slow i will kill myself
I doubt that even a pentium D 3.4 is any fast then single 3.4
