Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
So if you are running in console mode, and you have f@H starting up as a service. All one would have to do is push the power button, and the machine will start folding. One does not have to be logged in at all right? Does it send jobs while in the login screen?
Yup, the console with it being set as a service will do everything at any point, regardless of who or if anyone is logged in, as long as it has a net connection to up and download of course.
Right and right, you dont need to be logged in and it will also send wus if you have broadband/some other kind of always on, the one rig ive tried it on doesnt dial up though.
As an aside, if you need to set -advmethods and -forceasm for the service, then hit up this thread. That should maybe be added to the sticky actually.
Edit: Too slow apparently, oh well, at least i had a link, no [H]'s though unfortuanately, curse parents pc, at least its now nicely borged, got to love the Celeron D goodness.
