I have a chieftec case, and Im trying to find a good guide to stealh my cd rom bays, but i havnt had much luck searching on google. Anyone can help please do.

Alot of people i have seen will recess thier cd's further into the case and then use velco or some sort of adhesive to attach a trimmed drive cover to it.

Actually it does matter with an Antec/Chieftec/clone case, because the optical drives use drive rails to mount the drives. The drive is then slid into the bay from the front of the case leaving the metal tabs on either side of the drive showing.

This is a really difficult mod to try to tackle, hope it works out for you.
 
It doesn't make it harder with those tabs there. The only way it would be harder is if your trying to get rid of them..?
 
i think i have it all figured out, i just need to cut out a nice little groove inside the coverings, then put the double sided tape there and stick it on. Thanks for your insightful answers
 
why dont u just get matching paint and paint the drive bezels?
