Ok, You guys see my sig I run bf4 with absolutely no probs with original drivers for my 290 on my 30 inch. I would like to goto to mantle and try it out good idea/bad idea?
 
Why bother asking and waiting for a response? Just do it and see for yourself!
 
hey while your at it can you post your fps with DX11 vs. mantel? im looking to do this also
 
I just played it with cat 14.4 (windows 8.1 64bit) and it is smooth under mantle.. I played BF 4 from open beta up until mantle release and it has came along very nice since mantle release.
 
Call my cynical I see no improvement... but from a [H] point of view 4-6 fps gain under mantle is all with slider set to performance everything stock no overclock.
