I am thinking about converting a physical host to virtual at a client, however it runs a number of applications that use USB key's for licensing, is doing USB passthrough easy enough to resolve this problem? Also the host has a LTO tape drive, I would just delete that from device manager after the conversion, OS is Server 2008R2. This would be done under VMware ESXi 5.5

Thoughts?
