I'd personally wait it out until november the 7th though. heck sell your 7950 now if you want, buy a cheap card to get you by and then buy nVidia's next gen card. I have info from a NDA-ed guy on XS that it's around 40-70% faster than G80 but runs notably cooler and quieter. no idea how well it OCs though
 
dude if you got a 7950gx2 dont upgrade

a 7900gs is good enough to hold out till g98

and oc'd 7900gs>7900gt

if you got 7950gx2 wait
 
If I buy now from EVGA I can use the step up program in november plus sell my card on Ebay for around $300 to help supplement my purches now, or is the step up just a misstep. Does it work like its advertised? I have the BenQ FP241W and the 7950 gx2 has a hard time at 1900x1200, worred about the new games coming out like Cyrsis, Enemy territory Quake Wars etc etc.
