Question regarding website loading speeds...

This is weird and I have yet to figure it out. But when I go onto this website it takes forever to load. Sometimes it crashes with a 403 error. Anyhow, I can use my neighbors computer and the same website will load at normal fast speeds. My neighbor and I share the same connection speed and same ISP. And the time frame between me hitting the website and hitting the website on his PC is within two minutes or less. So I have determined that its not the website thats the problem. I use firefox and it has all the updates installed. I have erased cookies, history and all that jazz and it still isn't right.

Any suggestions???

As I'm sure you know, there are lots of things that happen in the process of "loading a website". I'd start with a network trace on the two clients; comparing it should reveal the differences, and help you figure out what to investigate. You might use a fancy network analyzer -- even WireShark can help, since you probably don't need an industrial-strength solution. Or, you might just try FireBug.

In general, if A does something and B does something else, they're not the same. So, to figure out why B is doin' something else, figure out how it's different than A.

Try taking your machine over to your neighbor's house, and see if you get the same sluggish speed when connecting to the site.
