Question Regarding Heatsink Temps: Please Help!!

Hey guys recently I got an aftermarket thermaltake copper cooler for my OC'ed 3700+ SD core. Anyways, it made the core very stable however, I noticed some weird stuff.
I have a temp guage attached to the heatsink....when I first got it, it showed 106.7 F under load. 2 weeks later, after burn in, it shows 110.8 under load. The temps are slowly rising and rising....Now my question is this.....is this good or bad?
Is the heatsink actually transferring more heat AWAY from the cpu, or is it just running hot overall?? Please help...
