does the front intake fan have a mesh to catch dust?

also, is the case compatible with a XP-120 heat sink? I've read issues where the heatsink combined with a 120mm fan hits the out-take 120mm fan at the back of cases.

BOTH the front and rear 120mm fans have detachable fan "holders" that incorporate nice nylon mesh filters. The top 92mm fan holder does NOT have a filter.
As far as the XP-120 goes, as long as it doesn't overhang the edge of the mobo, it'll fit. This is a big case, the dimensions are almost the same as the Coolermaster Stacker.

I love my GB2, I've currently got it torn apart and will be taking it be powder coated next week. It'll be something to see. I'll post picks in a few weeks.
 
thx so much for the info. the nylon mesh thing can be taken out and washed right? (just like on lian lis)

also, i wanna hear this from a gb2 owner. reviews say that gb2 is VERY loud compared to other 120mm fanned-cases. is this because the fans chenbro included suck? or the poorly designed structure of the case? or is it because you don't have fan speed control (in which case, would it be possible to install some mechanism to control the 120 mm case fans speed?)

Yep the fan holders are all plastic and mesh so they can be washed.

The stocks fans are loud, to put it bluntly, they suck. Low speed my ass. I'm putting Vantec Stealths in mine, and there's plently of room for a speed control.
