On my HX520, the purple (+5 VDC Standby Voltage) wire was twisted with a ground. Is this for a reason? The way I'm sleeving, it would be better if they weren't twisted. I just don't want to screw something up.

Are both wires connected to the same pin? If so, it's a sense wire. They don't need to be twisted together, but they do need to be kept together.

I got one other stupid question. The arrangement of the grounds don't need to be pin for pin like corsair had them, do they?

No. A ground is a ground; it doesn't matter which one goes where.

I also swapped a couple reds. Anything that had a sense wire went back exact.

I feel like a 12 year old. Lol .
