Question on Sunbeam Lightbus Fan Controller

Anybody have one of these?

Thinking about buying one, but I need to know if those 3-pin to 2-pin molex extension cables will allow me to hook them up to regular molex on my fans and then control the voltage with them? I have the fan controller connector on all of my fans (Yate Loons) but I'm fairly certain that the part of the cord with the 3-pin connector will not reach up to the fan controller at the top of my case so I will probably have to use the molex part.

I just like how this one looks and want to get it if it will do what I want it to...
 
Yes, it will work just fine.

Just remember to not connect the yellow wire to anything.

You mean the yellow wire on the regular molex from the fans? As in I would have to hook up the 2-pin molex connectors backwards?

I'm ordering it as we speak... can't wait to control my fans, I've been waiting for so long!
