I never use this software to create PAR before, so this is what happens:
After I selected the files by the ADD file function. I set redundancy to 10%.
The Reocvery File Size seems to c/w 3 options and I pick this one:
2) Variable (limited to the size of the largest data file)
Then in the next minute, Quick PAR created 56 files, i.e., the usual "datafiles.vol.??+Par2" and a small 158K PAR2 file.
at this point, it looks almost as if Quick PAR is done.
Then in the next 30 minutes, Quick Par is doing some sort of reading of some sort of files, but when it's done, it doesn't seem to write or rewrite to those files that Quick Par created at the very beginning.
If those files didn't get update, what on earth is quick par doing in that 30 min.?
