Im finally getting my WC loop back to full strength, 2x 6970 (With AlphaCool blocks), 1x XSPC Rasa, and the block on the Asus Maximus V.....Trying to figure out the best way to connect everything .... Pretty much have the order lined up, but thought hell, would Parallel on the GPU's work well?

My question is - how big of a difference will I see? Enough to want to go serial ?

( Also I must be crazy .... Ordered another 10ft of tubing + 2x 6 packs of thos emonsoon compression fittings.... and I got a D5 + EK Res/Top combo coming in as well .... )

Thanks guys for any thoughts.

If you have a D5, it would benefit from the lower restriction that a parallel loop offers you. From what I observed (due to a 580 being RMA'd), parallel GPUs had a significantly higher overall flow rate than just a single GPU block based on how much splashing was happening in the reservoir. There should be a minimal difference in temps, and temps may actually be better with parallel due to higher flow rates keeping the loop closer to equilibrium.

Ya, a D5, i think ill give it a go atleast, from the manuvering of tubing in the case, i'm thinking parallel will be nice - and be a bit different.

ALso .... now that i think of it, how hard is it to fit a 360 rad in a Antec 1200? Until sometime this summer thats the case im "stuck" with, My issue Is that I need 2x drive cages still in the 1200, so i dont think i can fit the rad while giving it good airflow (No issues ripping that shitty top fan out)
