Is it possible to have a system with one hard drive, but have two operating systems on it like Xp and 98. I only would like to do this because of games not being compatible with XP. I know that you can have linux on with another OS, but I was wondering if it's compatible and how to go about doing it.

yeah, its not a problem, just instal both OSs on the hd and when you start up it will ask you what os you want to use. (this may do better in the os forum)

I was all excited to set up a dual boot system this weekend (2000 and 98).

I thought everything was fine and dandy, had windows 98 SE on C: all installed and patched/updated.. had 2000 on D:, all patched/updated... then i got the BSOD. (Not the harmless "just reboot and everything will be ok" BSOD either  )

Some error message I have NEVER seen before, didn't even bother to write it down.

Back to being a single boot [n]oob
