What's this thing about intel needing memory to work, do I buy some and where do I put it?

stressed and confused,

Michael Jackson

Im not getting the meaning of this post?? Are you asking this question VapourIT??

What's michal jackson got to do with this??

The memory you have there is probably BH-5 which will do very nicely for OCing Canterwoods

no ...Intel is so good and designed so well , that you can run for days without a single stick of memory installed ...

do keep in mind tho, that you wont be able to do anything on your computer in this state .....but the chip will run just fine

LOL...you have to have memory to run a PC. Don't mean to thread crap, but ever wondered what those long, thin slots next to the CPU are for?

based on the assumption that "memory" is being used in the n00b sense to mean the HDD and not the RAM

Windows can run if there is enough RAM, but its alot more common to use a "thin" linux distro like coyote linux which can run from just a floppy

a few other alternative "thin" OSs

PS Micheal sober posting is encouraged :p
