If I overclock a E2160 to 2.8ghz (9 x 311), and a E4500 to 2.8ghz (11 x 255), which CPU will generate more heat?

I would think that the E2160 would produce more heat, but I am wanting to confirm it. Reason that I am concerned about the heat is because the airflow in my htpc is quite restricted.

Thanks,
Anthony

The chips themselves would be very close as they are the same chip (unless the cache is different, I am not going to look them up :p)

The increased FSB should generate more heat from the Northbridge and other motherboard components, how much, /shrug not a lot but enough to probally measure (couple of deg C as a scientific wild ass guess) if the airflow as not good.

So in general I agree with you but not for the same reason.
