I have a normal powersupply I guess atx with the p4 line as well, new 939 mobos are atx.v2? Do I have to buy a new powersupply or is there a adapter? When looking at power supplies via newegg.com, I don't see any that say atx.v2 besides the Antec Neo Power. What should terms should I look for to find the right psu?
Thanks in advance!

Ok. The ATX12v2.0 spec is new and has a few differences from the previous ATX12v1.3 spec. These are PSU spec's not motherboard specs. The difference on the mobo that will be most noticeable is if the ATX connector is 20 pin or 24pin. Post your entire setup, a price point, what features you are looking for in a pSU, take a gander at the stickies and then we can help you narrow down the field.

So I cant get a adaptor wire to change it?

Probally DFI Ultra D nforce 4 (non SLI)
venice 3000+
psu now is a 480 thermaltake silent power

features I want in a psu? just quiet, the ocz looks nice being able to unhook and hook wires up as you need them. Thanks again!

You can get an adapter but some people have ahd stability issues with them and they add resistance (mostly on the 3.3v). For quiet you are going to want something like the Seasonic S12 however without a complete system specs.................

system specs are in my sig
trying to build a new system and was trying to get cost and parts list.
but complete specs
are 2 120mm fans, 1 92mm fan 2 hard drives, 1 burner + one dvd drive
gpu will be a 6600pci e or a 6800 havent decided yet

Ok. A new PSU will probably be a good idea then. When looking for good PSU's start with what is suggested in the Before making a......thread.

When looking Newegg offers a slot to select the revision of PSU. If you have a question or think one doesn't look like an ATX12v2.0 make sure it has 2 +12v rails.

General good ATX12v2.0 supplies:

Fortron Bluestorm
Seasonic S12 series
P PC&C
Antec Neopower
Any Zippy/Emacs that are ATX12v2.0

And a lot more. Take a gander at them and see what you think.
