i am going to run a wireless internet hot spot in my apartment building but i want it to be password protected to each apartment, so i will have to setup multiple accounts with different passwords, is this posibble i am using a wrt54g

Out of the box, no. You need something like Captive Portal to accomplish this or an enterprise access point that supports RADIUS authentication.

i didnt think so but i guess i will just use the same pass and only give it to certain people

If you want to use a linksys wrt54gl or something, you can flash it with dd-wrt and get radius support by spending like $50.

Limit people to one simultaneous logon and you should be all set.

i am going to do just that i am going to use 1 login
