I'm looking for solutions to back up more data...and I was wondering what ye thought of the available solutions..

The Western Digital Passport to Go is my first choice. Get 4 160 GB drives, eliminate the need for a power plug, and only need one USB cable to power them on. I just wish they came in bigger sizes, unless another company makes something similar..

Or, I could get a internal hard drive enclosure that could connect a few 700GB drives together. That would work, But do they make any that are powered on by USB, and have Sata Connectors? I could get one WD to go Passport drive for travel, and one of these for home and be ready to go...

Thanks :)

You're out of luck for bus powered USB 3.5" enclosures. There do seem to be bus powered Firewire enclosures, but I didn't find any SATA ones(UDMA yes). 2.5" drives look to max out @ 200GB, so you're stuck with that being the limit. You could get a 2.5" USB enclosure & a 200GB 2.5" drive, but it'll probably cost you some dime.
