When I log into a box running Remote Desktop, it messes with the video driver and causes my GPUs to crash and I have to reboot to start them folding again.

Does this happen with logmein?
How can i access my boxes remotely without it causing a GPU freakout?
 
That is specifically why I use logmein. It plays nice with the GPU clients
 
I don't have any problems running the GPU2 client with logmein in XP Pro 32-bit. My GPU did crash once yesterday but it was more likely due to an unstable overclock. Plus, it just resumed itself so it was no big deal.

RDP screws with the display drivers of your folding graphics card(s) and will cause your folding clients to crash 100% of the time...I learned this on my first trip away from home where I was trying to monitor my remote pc.... Since then, I started using logmein, and I will never turn back :)...Hope this helps!

What they say, used on both rigs, and I love it because I've got ignition on my phone so I can check anytime anywhere

I check my rig at home from work using logmein, I have no problems with it at all, no effect on my clients what'so'ever, cause all your really using for the client is your net, it doesnt depend on graphics or cpu power on the rig your checking out.

Plus when my wife is having issues with something on the PC, I can use logmein to help troubleshoot the issue with her, so its great.
 
do what i do, use logmein hamachi, create a vpn network and link any pc's you want to access.

then install tightvnc/ultravnc server/viewer on any machine you want to view.

once you have ultravnc installed and configured you can just pop in the hamachi ip of the client you want to access and viola instant access and doesnt fubar your video drivers
also i use this for simple filesharing.

i moved the f@h-gpu fodler thats usually in the appdata folder to a shared folder and pointed the desktop shortcut to it and now i can monitor my progress thru fahmon/HFN.net remotely
and with very low overhead
