• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

You know when a board says it supports a certian amount of memory. Does that include a video cards memory as well ? Lets say I buy a board that supports 16 gigs. I buy 16 gigs and buy a video card with 2 gigs. What is my total, to what and to where ? EDIT ... I imagine the OS would have something to say about this as well so lets go with Win. 7 .

The motherboard memory capacity refers to the amount of system RAM that can be installed through the DIMM sockets.

It does not include video memory.

No, the memory controllers are independent, they have nothing to do with each other.

Technically, with modern motherboards, the memory controller on the CPU is what dictates how much memory can be installed. Motherboards just provide the physical connections.
