Hi greetings from Athens Greece a question please. I have a system with a P5W DH deluxe mb, cpu intel core2 duo E6600 , card Gigabyte Ati Radeon X1900XTX 512MB DDR3, it is not overclocked and the temperatures that working are: cpu 34-39, motherboard 43-52 and the card 60-88 celcius degrees. Is that normal ? Thanks Vags ;)

Card is getting a little bit warm, but Considering you're living in Athens... Not really out of the norm.

What's your ambient temperature?

Your CPU seems pretty dead on as far as standard temps, but like the previous poster said, the VGA card temps seem quite high. Do you do alot or graphic-intensive activities? Prolonged use of something of high demand could be causing the high temps that you're noticing. Also, like the previous poster said, you should find out your ambient temps so that you have a baseline reading so you know where you stand as far as temps. In this case it seems extra important due to your enviroment, since you live in such a warm climate, that will have an effect on even idle temperatures.

Temps can start out a bit high and then lower up some. I have same board and CPU and temps dropped 5 - 10 C after a 10 days or so. Then I ended-up using Scythe Ninja as well and now CPU and board temps are lower (CPU usually around 22C). I think some of the temperature readings on Everest listed as AUX are bogus and people take them for Vid card temps. Not saying thats your case but I have read that one a lot.

Oh and Arctic Silver 5 used new application directions for applying material to C2D. A thin line down CPU so it crosses both cores. I read people saying to put a rice grain in center but that's not best way.

My abient temperature is about 15 degrees celcius out and in the room about 26-30 .This system is from the first day like this, the maximum temporary is after 1-2 hours gaming in 1280x1024 in game Just Cause for example. Is that normal?
