Also from mmo7 owner, though a bit dispirited one due to two main issues (besides few other features that make me scratch my head):

- somewhat frequent horizontal / vertical tracking issues
- force needed to press the long leftmost thumb button (button #1)

The tracking I heard was "usual" in this model due to the sensor - though I'd say it can really be usual for maybe madcatz suits - losing H or V axis for a few seconds out of the blue has no place in any mouse, and certainly not in $100+ one. Has anyone tried RMA'ing the mouse and getting another one working without this issue - or is it a lost cause ?

Another "problem" for me is the leftmost thumb button (button #1). On my mouse it requires 160g - 200g to press - which makes it almost pointless in fast paced scenarios. Compared to mmo7 predecessor (cyborg mouse) which required about 80g, it's quite a regression (and that side button pressed /down/ was one of the main reasons for me to purchase this model - remembering how well it worked on the old one).

So the question - is the force required to press the same for you, or maybe it's only a problem with my item ?

Some numbers for comparison:

Old ("2007") cyborg mouse:

LMB, RMB, TB: ~80g
MMB: ~120g

MMO7:

LMB / RMB: ~45g
MMB: ~140g - 160g (still tolerable, mostly thanks to the figner's length)
TB: ~ 160g - 200g+

I've read about this problem before and most people either get rid of the mouse pad they are using or get another one. I don't have this problem unless something like dust gets on my laser. If you have a clean surface and a smooth mouse pad and still get problems I would recommend trying to RMA considering how much you paid for this mouse that is unacceptable.

I'm not really sure how to measure how many grams it takes to press but mine presses fairly easy. It is a tad stiffer than the other buttons but only a tad. Sounds like it might be a bad unit.

I'll second this. The only time I have a tracking issue is on a lift and the cursor will drift down to the right with the distance varying depending on how fast or slow the lift and setting it back down are. It hasn't "lost" it's tracking though or had a limited range of movement since I changed the surface I was using.

Mine is considerably harder to press than the other buttons including the center d-pad/sniper/accuracy button and the middle mouse button. It sounds like there may be a lottery or running change on the switch for it.
