Question for the mini P180 owners. I'm really thinking of RMA'ing my SG04 and getting the Mini P180 as I had a regular P180 years ago and it was kick ass, but I just got tired of large cases for awhile. This SG04 is nice, but it vibrates alot, mostly due to the HDD and it goes right into my desk which is annoying. The mini P180 is pretty much perfect for my needs but I'm pretty bummed out you can't have the HDD cages AND the 120mm fans in front to help cool HDD's. With the big 200mm fan on top, how well do your guys HDD stay cool without any active fans?

I'd have to take out the lower HDD cage because i've got a huge GTX 260, so the HDD would have to go into the upper HDD bay and i'm wonder how cool will a single large SATA 7200 RPM drive will run is my biggest concern about this case.

not very well. My harddrive runs between 38 and 42 on my p180 mini and 28 to 32 on my CM590.

Mine aren't the strongest test as they are different hard drives, but I can tell you if having a cool harddrive is your goal you will need something extra with the p180 mini to cool it off.

my WHS box has a single drive in the top cage that runs between 32°(idle)-34°(streaming) with NO extra cooling and the two case fans run on the lowest setting

its a 1TB Barracuda 7200.12 if that is of any use.

i LOVE my Antec P180 Mini. Its really sexy, and get alot of compliments. My HDD Temps are fine, I have never had my Dual Raptors over heat (thank god). The Big Boy pushing alot of CFM upwards, out of the case.

And yes, a GTX260 is too big, just take out the lower HDD cage. but when u do this, u expose alot of wires that the cage other wise hides. I was going to put in my 260, but decided not to for this reason. So i left in my 4850 /w Accelero 2
