question between two monitors

looking to get a new monitor, i've heard really good things about NEC, so i've been looking at them. However my friend has a MITSUBISHI monitor, i guess their run by the same company now or something? anyway i've been looking at these two

they look almost identical, the only difference is the refresh rate, and dot pitch.. other than that.... is there any real difference in quality or craftsmanship.. I'll be using it for gaming, but i want something that's going to last and not have to be sent back anytime soon. I have a terrible viewsonic monitor right now which is far from even being a real flatscreen monitor.. just want something new any comments or help is appreciated :rolleyes:
 
The Mitsubishi is a better monitor, It has better refresh rates. I have the 930Sb and it is by far the best monitor ive ever used
and Nec and mitsubishi are the same company
 
I'm in the market for a new monitor myself. I had considered these both but, most of the reviews are saying that both have very poor text display. Think both are basically the same monitor, with Mitsubishi having the larger res.

Hope that help somewhat.

I'm about to go cross eyed from reading so many reviews and opinions.
