Question before upgrading from X1900XT to 4850

What I would like to know is:

How do these video cards compare in power consumption?

I've seen 4850's as low as $80. That's a good number for my budget and I think it would make a pretty large difference for my gaming experience. I just don't want to go overboard with power consumption (not that my PSU can't handle it).

it'll be fine, the 4850 is very good on power draw

doesn't really tell what their test system was using, but its #'s are respectable, you probably won't see much, if any, increase in power draw from an X1900XT

Cool. That might actually be a decrease in power. I think test systems with the x1900xt (in old reviews) were around 150idle/300load. I suppose I could find ways to cut back power too. Heck, with a better GPU, maybe I can try to stop compensating by overclocking my CPU lol.
