27" 1080p 60Hz TN priced $250 ?
How would anything look good on that outdated, overpriced piece of shit ?
Someone please sue ASUS for shamelessly luring people with their 'WOW SUPER FAST 1ms !!!' marketing bullshit.

Hi Docfitz01, sorry for the intro, I suggest you read about the various LCD panel technologies (TN, IPS, VA) and things related to 'response' and 'lag'.
Websites like tftcentral.co.uk and pcmonitors.info have very interesting articles explaining the basics.
I suggest you look into monitors featuring IPS and VA panel, and with a higher resolution like 1920x1200 and 2560x1440.
If you use visual enhancing features like filters or shaders (like those available for RetroArch or HSLS in MAME) a higher resolution is better.
The higher the more computer power is required though, I suggest you describe your PC configuration before going any further.
